✨ A suit made to cause a sensation (and not only at Versailles).
This marquis ensemble is a reconstruction inspired by the court dress of the late reign of Louis XV, around 1770. It is designed to capture the gaze, highlight presence, and tell a story the very moment you cross the threshold.
Perfect for a historical ball, a stage performance, a film set… or a moment of pure rococo folly, this suit blends the charm of the Ancien Régime with the flexibility of modern bespoke tailoring.
It consists of:
– A white cotton shirt with wide sleeves, graced by lace spilling elegantly from the cuffs (marquis effect guaranteed)
– A satin waistcoat, embroidered and silk-lined, for a discreet touch of luxury
– A long satin coat with gold-trimmed lapels, adorned with 18 armorial buttons
– Matching satin breeches, buttoned à la française, with golden appliqués at the calf
– A generous jabot in white cotton stole, edged with lace to match the cuffs, coquettishly stirring at the slightest breeze
