This five-piece ensemble faithfully recreates the Victorian undergarments that gave the Second Empire silhouette its unique allure:
– A cotton voile chemise, soft on the skin, with embroidered straps or puff sleeves according to your wishes
– The panty trimmed with English lace, open in the middle — an invention as practical as it is… strategic
– The corset, busk-fronted and laced at the back, made to measure to support without constraining
– The cage crinoline of 3.5 meters in circumference, giving skirts their majestic fullness without weighing on the hips
– The double-flounced petticoat, to protect the gown, add warmth, or preserve modesty when summer fabrics grow too sheer
